The
Cornish & Devon Post contacted me
to ask if I would consider
being the
company’s photographer for the Launceston area as
their current photographer had decided on another career.
I
was
assured that my work as a
Videographer was more than adequate and that the principles
were
basically the same. We decided on a months trial and the
rest is history.
One
of my career highlights was to see one of my photographs in the National
press, including the
News of the World.
The picture
was taken in
November 2006 and showed a driving instructor’s car
submerged in flood
water.
Covering Bude, Callington, Bodmin Moor
as well as Launceston for
the Post
Series,
in addition to Freelance work for
other Tindle
newspapers including the Tavistock Times, Cornish Times,
Sunday
Independent and the North Cornwall Advertiser.
I also work with the
Cornish Guardian,
supplying them with local stories and pictures.
